Bringing back blogging

Something interesting came across my Mastodon feed. It was about bringing back blogging. You can find more information here: https://bringback.blog.

I absolutely love this idea! We definitely need to bring back blogs now that Musk has helped stick a nail in the Web 2.0 coffin. Web 2.5 is still social but it brings ownership back to the people. There are no algorithms in the traditional sense. People are the algorithm.

This post is coming from my phone and the WordPress app. Apparently you can’t insert hyperlinks anymore? The app has changed a lot since I last used it. It’s not very intuitive to use. I’ll probably end up editing this later.

Happy New Year! 2023 is going to be the year that we bring blogs back and we own our data again.
